Traceability: from origin to doré bar

Every lot moves forward with its identity, weight, assay and responsible parties recorded. The doré bar does not erase its history: it concentrates it in a verifiable file.

What we trace

A history for every lot

Traceability begins before we receive the ore. We review the available documentation on the supplier and the source operation to decide whether the lot can enter our chain.

When the material is received, it is assigned an identity that follows its weighings, samples, assay results and transformations. This links what enters the process to what ultimately leaves it.

The goal is concrete: for the doré bar to retain a documentary link to its source lot and to the controls performed during processing.

Chain of custody

Five stations, one file

The record is built during the process, not at the end. The animated flow shows how every control adds evidence to the same lot.

    Sampling and assay

A representative sample determines the composition and grade of the lot.

What remains on record

Each control answers a different question. Together they reconstruct the journey without relying on a single declaration.

Intermediate result

The doré bar keeps the route

A doré bar is a semi-refined alloy containing gold and other metals. It still requires further refining to reach the commercial purity required by the buyer.

Traceability does not end here: the code, weight and provisional assay remain linked to the file built from the source. That continuity lets the metal be followed into refining and export.

The paperwork travels with the metal

Changes of responsibility, transfers and controls are recorded to preserve continuity between the source, the process and the doré bar.
