History
How it started
SELCOSI EXPORT S.A.C. began as an idea in the classrooms of ADEX Peru. Marden Gid Zambrano Príncipe started out as a broker in Lima, where he learned first-hand how precious metals export works: what an international buyer asks for, what paperwork they require and where deals fall apart.
With that knowledge he founded the company in 2017. Settling in Juliaca was not incidental: being close to the producing area makes it possible to verify at source instead of relying on what an intermediary declares.
The first exports went through in 2020. Since then the operation has grown on three things: market analysis, strategic partners and the work of the team. Today the structure extends to Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia.
